M365 CMMC Engineer
Westminster, CO (onsite)
6+ month Contract
The M365 CMMC Engineer will lead the secure design, configuration, and migration of Microsoft 365 collaboration services within a CMMC-compliant environment. This role is responsible for ensuring SharePoint and Microsoft Teams are configured, migrated, and hardened to meet NIST 800-171 and CMMC Level 2 requirements. The engineer will work closely with engineering teams, executive leadership, and data owners to deliver compliant, auditable solutions within a GCC-High environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience designing and configuring Microsoft Teams and SharePoint in a NIST 800-171 or CMMC Level 2 environment
- Hands-on experience migrating data to and from Microsoft GCC-High environments
- Strong experience configuring and executing cloud migration tools, with AvePoint preferred
- Demonstrated success hardening Microsoft environments to meet federal compliance standards
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills
- Ability to create clear technical documentation and compliance audit artifacts
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Ability to communicate effectively between engineering teams and executive leadership

- Microsoft Teams administration
Nice to Have
- CMMC 2.0 assessment readiness experience
- Familiarity with U.S. Government regulations such as DFARS and CMMC
