High-Visibility, High-Risk Project - SVRS Implementation

The Virginia Department of Elections (ELECT) seeks an experienced Project Manager for the Statewide Voter Registration System (SVRS) implementation a critical, high-stakes election management system. This fast-paced role demands onsite work in Richmond, VA, with daily stakeholder interactions, risk management, and adherence to Commonwealth standards. Highlight $5M+ COV Category 1/2 projects or $10M+ non-COV projects as PM of record on your resume.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily collaboration with stakeholders, ELECT staff, and project team.
• Manage project metrics in Commonwealth Technology Portfolio (CTP); oversee SVRS calendar.
• Conduct status briefings to internal/external audiences, including Interagency Oversight Committee.
• Follow Commonwealth Project Management Standard (CPM) in a high-complexity environment.

Required Qualifications (10+ Years Experience Each):

• Active PMI PMP or ACP Certification (upload copy resumes without will not be considered).
• Completion of COV Category 1/2 project ($5M+) or non-COV project ($10M+) as PM of record (MUST BE HIGHLIGHTED).
• 10+ Years CPM methodologies in $10M+ large-scale, medium/high-complexity projects.
• Documented risk management experience.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in relevant field.
• VITA PMQR/CIO review qualification.
• Strong Microsoft Office/Project knowledge; excellent written/verbal communication.
• Self-starter with organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking.

Highly Desired:

• Familiarity with Commonwealth Technology Portfolio (CTP)/Planview Enterprise One.
