IT Project Manager

Description

We are looking for a skilled IT Project Manager to take charge of critical technology and business initiatives in a highly regulated industry.

This is a consulting opportunity at this time.

We're seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology and business projects within Financial industry or other highly regulated industry.

The consultant will manage full project lifecycles, partner with cross functional teams, and ensure delivery of high quality solutions that meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, execution, and delivery of IT and business projects.

Manage scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and project documentation.

Coordinate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.

Facilitate meetings, requirements gathering, and decision making sessions.

Communicate project status, issues, and milestones to leadership.

Ensure adherence to PMO standards and support process improvements.

Other duties as needed

The success IT Project Manager will have:

3+ years of IT project management experience.

Experience with MS Project and/orJira is preferred (Currently using MS Project but moving to Jira)

Strong background in enterprise IT and cross functional business projects.

Proficiency with Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid methodologies.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred: PMP, PMI ACP, or Scrum certifications; consulting experience.

Background required prior to employment
