JOB TITLE: Technical Support Tech II
DURATION: 11 MONTHS
LOCATION: ONSITE IN SEATTLE, WA
PAY RATE: $25 - $35 HOURLY
Job Description: 1.1 About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Controller to join our team. In this role, you will manage and optimize daily inventory operations to ensure accurate stock levels, efficient order fulfillment, and smooth supply chain processes. The Inventory Controller plays a critical role in maintaining operational excellence and supporting business growth through effective inventory management.
1.2 Key Responsibilities
Inventory Sorting and Organization: Categorize, organize, and maintain inventory in designated storage locations to ensure easy accessibility and efficient space utilization.
Job Picking: Select and prepare items from inventory based on work orders, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment.
Labeling: Create and apply appropriate labels to inventory items, ensuring all products are properly identified with correct SKUs, barcodes, and relevant information.
Purchasing: Coordinate with vendors to place orders for inventory replenishment, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery of supplies.
PO Tracking: Monitor and track purchase orders from creation to fulfillment, resolving any discrepancies and maintaining accurate documentation.
Catalog Management: Create and maintain detailed catalog entries for all inventory items, including specifications, pricing, and supplier information.
Inventory Auditing: Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock levels, identify discrepancies, and maintain inventory accuracy.
Reporting: Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend process improvements.
Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing inventory to ensure items meet quality standards and specifications.
1.3 Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
2+ years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or similar role
Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic math skills and ability to perform accurate calculations
Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
1.4 Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Knowledge of lean inventory management principles
Certification in inventory management or supply chain operations
Experience with barcode scanning systems and RFID technology
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and process improvement experience
