- Leading the design, development, and implementation of hardware components for servers, including processors, memory, storage, and network interfaces.
- Mentoring and guiding a team of hardware engineers, providing technical expertise and support, and ensuring team members adhere to industry standards.
- Understanding customer requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and working with other departments to ensure a robust and scalable solution.
Collaborating with software engineers, system architects, mechanical, thermal and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and efficient system design
- Strong understanding of electronics, signal integrity, power management, and server architecture
- Experience with high-speed interface standards (PCIe Gen5/6, LPDDR5/6) and peripherals for embedded compute
- Proficient in schematic preparation, PCB layout design, and design validation
- Experience with relevant design tools like Altium and orcad.
- Strong knowledge of PCB stack-up definition, controlled impedance routing guidelines for complex stack-ups and topologies
- Good understanding of server class of board design.
- Worked on projects from requirement to final product release (circuit design, prototyping and testing) and maintenance.
- Hand on experience on testing tools (DSO, DMM,FG, electronic loads etc.) circuit validation, board bring up , functional testing , trouble shooting, Failure analysis
- Experience in developing detailed schematics and schematic capture using CAD tools
- Expertise on PCB design process, Technical document writing
- Good Communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in High-performance computing (HPC) ,datacenter application or OCP (open computing platform) will be added advantage.
