Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Project Manager in Greenwood Village, CO.
Summary:
The Technical Project Manager, referred to internally as a Backend Integration Analyst (BEIA), owns the full software delivery lifecycle from intake through production deployment. This role sits at the intersection of project management, technical analysis, and agile delivery, serving as the primary driver of execution, prioritization, and communication for a backend integration and orchestration engineering team. The candidate must be fluent in SDLC processes, comfortable working with engineering teams, and capable of managing delivery in a fast-moving, cloud-native environment.
Responsibilities:
* Own end-to-end project delivery across the SDLC, from intake and requirements refinement through development, UAT, and production release
* Perform intake using established team processes and translate requirements into actionable JIRA epics, stories, and tasks
* Facilitate sprint planning, estimation, backlog grooming, and delivery tracking for the development team
* Act as day-to-day Project Manager, Scrum Master, and Technical Analyst, ensuring alignment between stakeholders and engineering
* Maintain and communicate roadmap status, delivery timelines, risks, dependencies, and blockers to stakeholders and leadership
* Ensure engineering work is prioritized correctly and aligned to business commitments
* Track team capacity, velocity, and delivery commitments in partnership with engineering leadership
* Perform initial triage and investigation of issues during UAT and post-deployment, including API behavior and data discrepancies
* Use observability and diagnostic tools to support troubleshooting efforts and stakeholder inquiries
* Serve as a translator between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear, effective communication in both directions
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-7+ years of experience in one or more of the following roles: Project Manager, Technical Analyst, Scrum Master, Delivery Manager, or similar
* Proven experience working within a full SDLC environment supporting software engineering teams
* Hands-on experience working with engineering tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Git or GitLab
* Working knowledge of application monitoring and troubleshooting using tools such as Splunk and/or Datadog
* Experience supporting API-driven platforms and backend or integration-focused teams
* Strong project management fundamentals, including scope, schedule, risk, and dependency management
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization
* Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
* Ability to remain effective under pressure and navigate delivery challenges without loss of focus or professionalism
Preferred Skills:
* Experience writing clear requirements documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria
* Experience working in cloud-based environments
* Familiarity with REST and GraphQL APIs and API documentation tools such as Swagger
* Exposure to cloud-native and microservices-based architectures
* Understanding of Kubernetes, Helm, and modern deployment strategies (blue/green or canary)
* Familiarity with tools such as Apollo Studio, Karate (KarateLabs), or similar testing platforms
* Comfort working with observability, logging, and debugging tools in support of engineering teams
* Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to balance competing priorities
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
