Position: Research and Development Engineer
Pay Rate: $33 / hr
Schedule: On-Site, 4-days / wk
Contract: 1year
Position Summary: - The Research and Development Engineer supports upgrades to existing product designs by applying strong documentation practices and adhering to Design Control requirements. This role works under direct supervision and contributes to concept development, design, and refinement activities. The position partners closely with Marketing, Production, and external customers to support product improvements and business continuity projects.
Duties & Responsibilities: - Support research and development efforts for upgrades to existing product designs.
- Conduct testing activities for new developments in collaboration with Marketing and external customers.
- Support Maintenance of Business (MOB) projects by providing technical and documentation assistance.
- Serve as a technical liaison between Marketing and Production to ensure Design Control compliance.
- Manage all aspects of the Change Deployment Process (CDP).
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation throughout all phases of development.
- Stay informed on current health and safety guidelines relevant to product development.
Required Skills & Competencies: - Technical Skills
- Documentation and report writing

- Statistical analysis
- Experience with Medical Device or Product/Process Validation (preferred)

Education & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in a related engineering or science field preferred
- 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Equivalent work experience may be considered
