Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Splunk ITSI Engineer to design, implement, and support IT Service Intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise, ITSI, AIOps, KPI development, and service monitoring, enabling proactive monitoring and operational excellence across enterprise IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Splunk ITSI services, KPIs, and service trees
• Configure and tune Glass Tables, Service Analyzer, Deep Dives, and Episode Review
• Develop and optimize correlation searches, alerts, and adaptive thresholds
• Implement ITSI AIOps features such as anomaly detection, event correlation, and predictive analytics
• Onboard data sources and normalize data using CIM (Common Information Model)
• Create and maintain custom dashboards, reports, and visualizations
• Work with application, infrastructure, and network teams to define meaningful KPIs and SLIs
• Perform root cause analysis using Splunk ITSI and reduce MTTR
• Ensure Splunk performance optimization, data quality, and best practices
• Support upgrades, patches, and enhancements of Splunk and ITSI components
• Provide operational support and troubleshooting for Splunk ITSI environments

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise and Splunk ITSI
• Expertise in KPI creation, Service Trees, Glass Tables, and Service Analyzer
• Experience with AIOps, anomaly detection, and event aggregation
• Strong knowledge of SPL (Search Processing Language)
• Experience with time-series data, metrics, and log analytics
• Knowledge of CIM compliance and data onboarding
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments
• Understanding of IT operations, monitoring, and incident management
• Good knowledge of ITSM tools (ServiceNow, BMC, etc.)

Nice to Have Skills

• Splunk ES (Enterprise Security) exposure
• Python scripting or REST API integrations
• Cloud monitoring experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• DevOps tools exposure (CI/CD, Jenkins, Git)
• Splunk certifications (ITSI Certified Admin, Power User, Architect)
