responsibilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Artifactory, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (DataDog, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and security principles.
- Designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Manage and optimize cloud environments (AWS Native Services, and Serverless Technologies (Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, S3, IAM)).
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across development and production environments.
- Built security telemetry and alerting with SIEM/SOAR (Splunk, Sentinel, Elastic, Datadog, Panther, Chronicle).
- Solid knowledge of network security: VPC design, routing, NAT, firewalls, WAF, egress controls, private endpoints, and service-to-service mTLS.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of software.
- Implement security best practices in deployment and infrastructure.
- Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reliability.
