AWS Application Developer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a mid-level AWS Application Developer with strong experience in building and supporting cloud-based applications using AWS, Python, and Java. The role involves designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions within a modern AWS environment, primarily supporting finance applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, deploy, and support AWS-based applications using Python and Java.

• Implement solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, Athena, Glue, DynamoDB, and ECS/Fargate.

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, CDK, and Terraform.

• Build reusable and scalable cloud and serverless components following best practices.

• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.

• Collaborate with technical and business teams to translate requirements into solutions.

• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.

• Create and maintain technical and operational documentation.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in AWS application development.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (VPC, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, Athena, DynamoDB, Glue).

• Proficiency in Python and Java.

• Experience with Docker and container-based deployments.

• Strong SQL skills (SQL Server, DB2, or PostgreSQL).

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.

• Serverless and event-driven architecture experience.

• Hands-on experience with IaC tools (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform).

• Experience with Git, Maven, shell scripting, and CI/CD tools.
