Summary

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning: Define performance testing strategy, gather non-functional requirements (NFRs), and design comprehensive test plans and scenarios (load, stress, soak, spike).

Scripting & Execution: Develop and automate test scripts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, with scripting in Java, Python, or .
Environment Management: Set up and manage performance test environments, including cloud-based setups.
Monitoring & Analysis: Use APM tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics) and monitoring techniques (Perfmon, Linux) to identify performance bottlenecks, analyze CPU/memory usage, and diagnose issues.
Collaboration: Work with developers, architects, and operations to implement performance improvements and troubleshoot complex issues.
Reporting & Mentorship: Prepare detailed performance reports, present findings, and mentor junior testers.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Experience: 5+ years in performance testing, with experience in large-scale distributed systems and cloud environments.
Tools: Expertise in JMeter, LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, Dynatrace, Splunk, etc..
Scripting: Strong scripting (Java, Python, BeanShell) and programming skills.
Concepts: Deep understanding of application architecture, CI/CD, Agile, and performance metrics.
Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
