Role Overview
The SAP EWM Lead Consultant will be responsible for leading endtoend SAP Extended Warehouse Management EWM implementations and support activities. This includes requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, integration, testing, and golive support. The role demands strong leadership, client engagement, and technical expertise in SAP EWM processes.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership:
Lead SAP EWM implementation projects decentralized and embedded deployments.
Manage full lifecycle activities: requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Solution DesignConfiguration:
Configure complex warehouse processes: inbound, outbound, internal movements, physical inventory.
Set up warehouse structure, storage control, RF framework, wave management, and warehouse order creation.
Integration:
Integrate EWM with SAP modules MM, SD, TM and external systems Material Handling Equipment, robotics.
Team Management:
Mentor junior consultants and offshore teams.
Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer.
DocumentationSupport:
Prepare functional specs, process flows, and configuration guides.
Provide golive and postgolive support.
Required SkillsQualifications
Experience:
6+ years in SAP EWM minimum 2 fullcycle implementations as Lead.
Strong understanding of SAP Activate methodology and agilehybrid delivery models.
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in EWM configuration RF, Yard Management, Labor Management, Slotting, VAS.
Knowledge of integration with TM, MM, SD, PP modules.
Familiarity with IDOCs and Middleware PIPOCPI.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication, leadership, and clientfacing skills.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Preferred:
SAP EWM Certification.
Experience with automation MFS, conveyors, robotics
