Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to oversee and optimize the technology infrastructure of our retail operations in Bluffton, South Carolina. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities and technical expertise to ensure seamless functionality and security across systems. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage and enhance IT processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Active Directory to ensure proper user access and system security.
Oversee backup technologies to safeguard data integrity and enable recovery in case of system failures.
Administer and troubleshoot Cisco technologies, including network equipment and configurations.
Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of computer hardware to support business operations.
Implement and oversee configuration management to streamline IT workflows and maintain system consistency.
Monitor system performance and proactively address issues to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and provide solutions.
Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Provide training and support to staff on IT systems and processes.
Research and recommend new technologies to improve overall business performance.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in IT management or a related role.
Proficiency in managing Active Directory environments.
Strong knowledge of backup technologies and disaster recovery strategies.
Hands-on experience with Cisco technologies, including routers, switches, and network protocols.
Expertise in computer hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with configuration management tools and practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and leadership abilities to guide teams effectively.
