About the Role :
Our client seeking a seasoned
Head of Intelligent Automation to lead and optimize our enterprise automation ecosystem. This is a
strategic, leadership-focused role and not a hands-on engineering position. The successful candidate will oversee client's
RPA and NLP platforms, manage a
large distributed team, and drive operational excellence across all business units.
Key Responsibilities- Own, optimize, and manage all existing RPA and NLP systems, including attended/unattended bots and digital assistants.
- Lead and mentor a 20 30 person global team across onshore and offshore operations.
- Oversee automation maintenance, support, and limited new development work (mostly business-as-usual).
- Streamline processes, improve execution, and optimize delivery across the automation portfolio.
- Serve as a strategic enterprise leader, driving team productivity, operational efficiency, and cross-functional alignment.
- Collaborate with executives and stakeholders to ensure automation initiatives meet enterprise goals.
Key Expectations- Architecturally sound with strong enterprise understanding, but not hands-on coding.
- Proven ability to lead and scale distributed teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and executive presence.
- Capable of taking over a mature automation ecosystem and running it efficiently.
- Strong focus on team optimization, process improvement, and operational excellence.
Required Skills & Experience Leadership & Management:- Managed 30+ engineers, preferably in enterprise environments.
- High emotional intelligence and strong people management skills.
- Experience leading onshore and offshore teams.
- Proven ability to improve team structure, productivity, and delivery.
Technical (High-Level):- Familiarity with RPA technologies (UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, etc.) at an enterprise level.
- Knowledge of NLP / conversational AI platforms and digital assistants.
- Understanding of enterprise automation architecture and ecosystems.
Domain Experience:- Industry experience is flexible; insurance background is not required.
- Must have enterprise-scale automation experience and leadership exposure.
Estimated Min Rate: $168000.00
Estimated Max Rate: $240000.00
