Position Description:

• You will join the Wealth Management Product Technology team, focusing on developing and enhancing the Private Banking Group Sales applications. This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of technical mastery in Core Java and the ability to navigate a complex, global banking technology landscape

Job Functions/Duties and Responsibilities:

• Hands-on development using Java and related technologies
• Design and development of Java applications as well as building scalable applications based on Microservices architecture
• Work as part of a banking Agile Squad
• Candidate must have good communication skills and have the ability to lead IT deliverables
• Working in the Agile development methodologies, collaborating with business and technology teams located globally
• Actively contribute and participate in sprint grooming and planning discussions, daily stand-ups, and Agile ceremonies

Skills Required:

• Java Stack 8+ Years Experience: Java 1.8+, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Security
• Architecture: Microservices Design Principles, Design Patterns
• Web Services: REST, SOAP, MQ, Tomcat
• Frontend: Angular (Development and Integration)

Skills Desired:

Experience: 8+ years
Location: [Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid)]

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Java (8/11+), Spring Boot, and Microservices

• Solid experience deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)

• Hands-on with GKE (Kubernetes), Cloud Run, App Engine

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform services: Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud SQL/Spanner

• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and API security (OAuth2/JWT)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration

• Strong SQL/NoSQL experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Bigtable, Firestore)

• Experience with monitoring & logging (Cloud Monitoring, Stackdriver)

• Understanding of cloud security, IAM, and networking concepts

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Kafka or Pub/Sub based event-driven architectures
