Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior SDET to join an Agile Software Development team. This role goes beyond defect identification and focuses on defining test strategy, building robust automation frameworks, and ensuring high-quality software delivery for diagnostic solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks

• Define and execute comprehensive test strategies, including functional, integration, system, and regression testing

• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC

• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines

• Leverage AI-driven testing tools for test planning, execution, analysis, and reporting

• Mentor and support junior SDETs and QA engineers

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in software development and testing, with a strong focus on test automation

• Deep knowledge of software testing methodologies (black-box, white-box, functional, non-functional, integration, system, acceptance)

• Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, JUnit, and TestNG

• Proficiency in at least one programming language: C#, Python, or Java

• Experience with CI/CD and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, HP ALM)

• Experience using AI tools for automated testing is a plus

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
