Desktop Support Technician

Description
As an End User Support Technician (Temporary) you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining all desktop software and hardware across Windows and Macintosh environments. You'll ensure system availability, perform software upgrades, maintain patch levels, and manage hardware deployment and inventory while delivering exceptional service to end users and executives.

What You'll Do
Deploy and support desktop hardware (laptops, desktops, Macs, zero-client devices).
Provide Tier-2 and Tier-3 support to the Enterprise Service Desk.
Maintain desktop OS and business applications in corporate and store environments.
Deliver white-glove support to onsite executives as needed.
Manage OS deployments using imaging tools and Airwatch; familiarity with sysprep and command-line utilities required.
Create and maintain documentation and SOPs.
Assist with office moves and equipment transitions.
Enforce security protocols including patch management and system hardening.
Meet project deadlines and communicate changes proactively.
Safeguard equipment and data integrity.
Uphold the principles of the IT Mission, Vision, Values, and Principles (MVVP).________________________________________
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical training.
3-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skilled in PC installation, configuration, and current OS platforms.
Knowledgeable in OS deployment and virtualization technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to recommend technical solutions.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
Eager to learn and stay current with technology trends.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hingham, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
