- Provide techno-functional leadership across Workday modules including Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, and Talent
- Own and guide Hire-to-Retire (H2R) processes, ensuring alignment across recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and downstream systems
- Serve as the primary advisor to business stakeholders, translating functional requirements into scalable Workday solutions
- Design and govern Workday business processes (BPs), security, reporting, and data flows
- Provide oversight and guidance on integrations, data feeds, and payroll interfaces (without being hands-on heavy)
- Partner closely with Payroll and ADP teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing
- Support Workday migrations, enhancements, releases, and optimizations
- Define and enforce best practices, standards, and governance across configuration, security, and reporting
- Collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery
- Mentor junior consultants and provide architectural guidance across teams

- 12+ years of overall IT experience with 7+ years of hands-on Workday experience
- Proven experience as a Workday System Architect, Techno-Functional Architect, or Senior Workday Consultant
- Strong functional and technical understanding across multiple Workday modules
- Deep knowledge of Hire-to-Retire (H2R) processes
- Solid experience with Payroll and ADP integrations/interfaces
- Strong understanding of Workday business processes, security, reporting, and configuration
- Working knowledge of Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio) - hands-on not mandatory
- Experience supporting tenant migrations, enhancements, and Workday releases
- Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills
- Ability and willingness to work onsite in Mountain View, CA (3 days per week)
Nice to Have
- Workday certifications (HCM, Payroll, Compensation, Integration)
- Experience in large-scale enterprise or regulated environments
- Exposure to middleware or API platforms (limited hands-on acceptable)
