Job Description:

Senior Information Systems Security Engineer will lead security engineering and compliance efforts for enterprise programs. The role will design, implement, and sustain security controls across complex systems while guiding stakeholders through governance and risk processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect, implement, and maintain security controls aligned to enterprise standards and regulatory frameworks.

- Conduct system security engineering across the lifecycle, including requirements, design reviews, integration, and operations.

- Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies for applications, networks, and cloud services.

- Develop and maintain security documentation, including plans, procedures, and diagrams.

- Support audits and compliance activities with evidence collection and remediation tracking.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and client stakeholders to resolve security issues.

- Monitor emerging threats and recommend improvements to security posture.

Required Qualifications:

- Demonstrated experience as an Information Systems Security Engineer or similar security engineering role.

- Proficiency with security architecture, network security, endpoint protection, and identity and access management.

- Experience implementing security controls in enterprise or cloud environments.

- Knowledge of risk management, vulnerability management, and incident response practices.

- Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in telecommunications or large enterprise environments.

- Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks.

- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, or cloud security certifications.
