We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our innovative team in San Luis Obispo, CA. This is a key technical role focused on designing, developing, and implementing advanced electrical systems with an emphasis on motion control, electric motors, and power conversion technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of motion control systems, power electronics, and electric motor technologies.
Conduct circuit design, simulation, and analysis to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Collaborate across mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Support new product development through all phases - from concept to production.
Provide technical guidance, support, and mentorship to junior engineers.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety requirements.
Participate in design reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

Must be within a commutable distance to San Luis Obispo, CA or willing to relocate.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
7+ years of hands-on experience in electrical design and development.
Strong background in motion control, electric motors, and power conversion systems.
Proven experience mentoring and developing junior engineering talent.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with embedded systems and control algorithms.
Familiarity with safety and compliance standards (UL, CE, etc.).
Design experience with high voltage systems, power supplies, or inverters
