Testing Triage Engineer - Contract - Greenwood Village, CO - $65.00 - $72.00/hr.

Our client is seeking a Testing Triage Engineer in Greenwood Village, CO.
Role Description
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using a variety of tools including tcpdump, wireshark, etc.
Given a defect priority standard, be able to assess the priority of a defect.
Communicate and discuss risks that are involved and complexity level of each and every defect.
Assign or allocate different tasks and work with different members of triage team to fix errors.
Update solution of each defect and note missing data or add any data for triage team.
Share updates on action items that are pending in management meetings.
Identify time required to fix defect on the basis of complexity of defect and functionality.
Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to investigate defects in the firmware on the home router.
Serves as primary escalation point to resolve incidents and problems for production applications and web services supported by the team in accordance with identified Service Level Agreements.
Perform other duties as requested by Manager.
Codes, tests, and debugs new software to existing software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements
Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits
Follows established configuration/change control processes.
Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties.
Skills & Requirements
Testing experience with Wireshark, TCP, iPerf for ex.
Excellent de-bugging and troubleshooting experience
Networking skills with DNS, DHCP, IPv4
Linux Commands experience
Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders.
Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes
Strong analytical abilities in order to analyze the effectiveness of software releases and make improvements.
Scripting skills python, groovy, busyBox (ash and tools), etc.
IPv6 exp.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance-tuning skills.
