Our mission is to transform how movers conduct pre-move surveys—making them faster, more accurate, and fully digital through smart automation and computer vision. We are in early product stages and are looking for a driven Business Development Account Executive to lead our go-to-market activities in the San Jose region.
Role Overview
As a Business Development Account Executive, you will be one of the earliest members of our sales and GTM team. This is a hands-on, quota-driven role focused on prospecting, outreach, demos, and customer acquisition. You will work closely with founders and the product team to validate early hypotheses, gather market insights, and drive adoption among moving companies.
This is a high-impact role where your learnings directly shape product roadmap and GTM strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Market Mapping
- Identify and map moving companies in the San Jose Bay Area and broader California region.
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective mover partners using CRM tools.
- Outbound Sales & Outreach
- Conduct proactive outreach via LinkedIn, email campaigns, cold calls, and field visits.
- Generate meetings with decision-makers—owners, ops managers, and moving coordinators.
- Achieve weekly/monthly activity metrics and support revenue targets.
- Product Demos & Customer Acquisition
- Deliver high-quality online and in-person demos of the early-stage Virtual Survey App.
- Convert prospects to early adopters and onboard them onto the platform.
- Support trial usage and ensure new movers see clear product value.
Customer Feedback & Product Collaboration
- Collect detailed user feedback on product experience, workflows, and feature requests.
- Synthesize insights and share directly with the product & engineering team.
- Help refine product direction by representing customer voice.
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with external stakeholders (movers, field teams).
- Work closely with internal teams (founders, product, growth) to ensure alignment.
- Deliver progress reports, insights, and competitive intelligence.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–6 years of experience in Business Development, Account Executive, or Field Sales roles.
- Experience in SMB sales, SaaS, logistics, moving industry, or marketplace platforms is a plus.
- Proven ability to hit quotas and manage a full outbound sales cycle.
- Strong communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation.
- Comfortable engaging prospects across email, LinkedIn, calls, and field meetings.
- Ability to understand early-stage products and translate customer problems into solutions.
- Self-driven, resourceful, and excited to work in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Located in or willing to operate primarily in San Jose / Bay Area.
