RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking an AVP of IT Network Services.

Summary:
The AVP of IT Network Services is a strategic and operational leader responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of enterprise-wide network infrastructure. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of all network systems, including LAN/WAN, cloud connectivity, wireless, and voice/data communications. The AVP will lead a team of network engineers and collaborate with cross-functional IT and business teams to support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the planning, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructure across all corporate and remote locations
* Develop and execute strategic initiatives to modernize and optimize network architecture, including cloud and hybrid environments
* Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
* Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) for network services and equipment
* Oversee incident response and root cause analysis for network-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption
* Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure seamless integration and performance
* Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and resource planning for the network services function
* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of network professionals
* Monitor emerging technologies and trends to recommend innovative solutions that enhance network capabilities

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred
* 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and network services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
* Experience with ITIL practices and change management processes
* Proven expertise in enterprise networking technologies (Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, etc.), cloud networking (AWS, Azure), and SD-WAN
* Strong understanding of network security principles and tools (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, AWS Certified Advanced Networking) are a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
