Summary: The Director of Data Operations leads the strategic direction, development, and execution of data operations across the organization. This role oversees the Data Team and ensures alignment with corporate goals, driving innovation, operational excellence, and data integrity. The Director is responsible for continuous improvement of data systems and processes, while also performing day-to-day work activities as a contributor to the workload of the teams.
Essential Functions: - Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for data operations, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of data integration, including 834 payroll integrations, deduction files, Employee Navigator data files, etc. ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and security.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives involving technology partners, clients, and internal teams to optimize data workflows and system interoperability.
- Serve as the senior liaison for high-stakes file integration projects, representing client and company interests in implementations.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators for data operations, driving performance improvements and reporting outcomes to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with IT, Compliance, and other departments to ensure data governance, system enhancements, and risk mitigation strategies are in place.
- Champion the adoption of new technologies, including AI, and automation to enhance data accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Perform other leadership-level duties or strategic projects as assigned.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Business, Data Science, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 810 years of progressive experience in data operations, including leadership roles.
- Proven ability to lead teams and complex processes and projects with cross-functional impact, simultaneously.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in data tools, including Excel and enterprise data platforms.
- Demonstrated success in driving operational improvements and managing change.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.

The base salary range for this position is $80,000-$124,000
. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
