Job Description

Ø  Looking for strong senior backend Scala/Java developer preferably with AWS Cloud experience

Ø   A coding exercise is required as part of the interview process.

Ø   Position will be onsite until further notice

JOB DUTIES: Working within an agile team, develop scalable backend software, using TDD. Develop Scala/Java applications running in an AWS environment.

REQUIRED experience:

Ø  5+ years hands-on experience with Java/Scala

Ø  Profound insight of Scala/Java Internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Concurrency, Futures, Multithreading.)

Ø  Building low-latency & high volume, distributed, scalable and reliable backend systems

Ø  RESTFul APIs


PREFERRED experience:

Ø  AWS

Ø  Cats Effect, Http4s, Fs2, Akka

Ø  Spring

Ø  Frontend experience a plus
