Principal Systems Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Principal Systems Analyst.

Responsibilities:
* Facilitating flow of requirements from the business to the technology team
* Reducing requirements and design risk and resulting costs associated with errors
* Exercise a passion for keeping your knowledge up to date with evolving technology
* Take ownership and accountability for determining what needs to be done

REQUIREMENTS:
* 8+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst/Senior Engineer for software solutions, with experience with Debit or Credit card domains
* Experience leading integration and analysis of banking systems, payment gateways, and financial domains platforms
* Experience researching, optimizing, and developing documentation, user stories, and specifications for moderate to sophisticated software systems
* Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and digging into data using logging tools
* Solid understanding and experience with APIs, relational database schemas and SQL management tools
* Excellent analytical skills
* Domain expertise in Financial Services domain
* You are diligent with a real passion for accuracy, clarity, and elimination of ambiguity
* You are deeply effective in written and verbal communications
* You are a self-starter who can rapidly assimilate business processes, goals and objectives and distill them into well-defined requirements
* You understand how technology can automate business processes and can optimally propose, challenge, and engage in ideation with business and technology teams
* Good interpersonal and leadership and influencing skills (without direct authority of others)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
