Client is opening a Garland office by the summer so they need someone that is willing to train in McKinney and then move into new Garland facility.
need someone that has high volume and manufacturing experience. Epicor for MRP/ERP would be great, and we are moving payroll to Paylocity, that would be good to have as well.
Summary:
The Accounting Manager will oversee the company s day-to-day financial operations with a strong focus on payroll management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of all financial transactions while providing leadership to the accounting team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and experienced in optimizing financial workflows to support the organization s overall goals.
Responsibilities
Oversee and process payroll to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely distribution.
Manage accounts payable operations, including invoice review, approvals, and vendor payments.
Manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
Ensure compliance with all payroll taxing jurisdictions.
Assist with preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Implement and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Responsibilities
Supervise and support accounting staff, providing training and performance feedback.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve financial discrepancies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
Strong understanding of payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
Solid knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
