Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Cutover Lead to own and manage all activities related to the production migration of enterprise applications within an Oracle ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on Oracle HCM implementations. The Cutover Lead will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing end-to-end cutover activities to ensure a smooth and successful go-live.
This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and program leadership to minimize risk and downtime during deployment, particularly across critical HCM modules such as Recruiting, OTL, Absence, and Payroll.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and manage the entire cutover lifecycle, from pre-cutover planning through post-go-live transition
• Develop detailed cutover strategies, plans, schedules, and checklists for Oracle implementations
• Coordinate and lead mock cutovers, dry runs, and rehearsal activities
• Identify, track, and mitigate cutover-related risks and dependencies, with special focus on HCM data and payroll-sensitive activities
• Serve as the primary point of contact during go-live and production migration
• Execute and oversee all go-live activities, ensuring alignment across functional and technical teams
• Work closely with Oracle HCM functional teams covering Recruiting, OTL (Oracle Time & Labor), Absence Management, and Payroll
• Compile and manage post-go-live tasks, including validation, issue tracking, and stabilization activities
• Lead the transition into hypercare/support, ensuring knowledge transfer and operational readiness
• Communicate cutover status, issues, and readiness to senior stakeholders and leadership
Required Experience & Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Cutover Lead or Deployment Lead on large-scale enterprise implementations
• Strong background supporting Oracle HCM implementations, preferably across Recruiting, OTL, Absence, and Payroll
• Experience coordinating across functional, technical, infrastructure, integration, and payroll teams
• Strong understanding of payroll-critical cutover activities, compliance timelines, and data dependencies
• Excellent planning, organization, and stakeholder communication skills
• Ability to manage high-pressure go-live scenarios and make timely decisions
• Strong documentation skills with experience producing executive-ready artifacts
