Job Description
Candidates must be Wisconsin residents or willing to relocate to Wisconsin prior to starting the role at their own expense. Hybrid role with 1 day onsite per month. Candidates should be prepared to interview between Dec 15-Dec 22. Applicants may not use AI tools/assistants during the interview process.
Required Skills & Years of Experience:
PeopleTools Development - 5 years
FSCM application experience - 2 years
HCM application experience - 2 years
Experience working with PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) 9.2, Financial and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) 9.2
General understanding of underlying data structures and database tables supporting PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) 9.2, Financial and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) 9.2
Ability to demonstrate strong skills in writing SQL statements and creating and managing queries in PeopleSoft Query Manager
Experience in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for multiple PeopleSoft implementations along with support experience for complex PeopleSoft applications, processes and reports
Comprehensive knowledge of PeopleSoft technology framework (PeopleTools, Integration Broker, Fluid UI, Reporting Tools, Workflow, LifeCycle Tools)
Experience with PeopleSoft Integration tools and integrating PeopleSoft applications with third party applications using web services
Experience with HCM Tax Updates, Oracle Critical Patch Updates, PeopleSoft PUM Updates and PeopleTools Upgrades
Preferred Experience & Skills:
Cobol development
Responsibilities:
Support PeopleSoft ERP system through application development efforts. This includes analysis, design, build, test, implementation and support of reports, interfaces and extensions.
Ensure the Development Section process, standards and structures are implemented, adhered to and improved upon
Prepares detailed analyses, plans, diagrams, and procedures within a technical design document for existing and proposed PeopleSoft applications
Assists business analysts and users in defining a project or problem, feasibility of the project and provides estimates for a project or problem solution
Determines the effort involved in implementing new systems or enhancements to existing systems due to changes in user requirements, legislative mandates, new software releases, changes in equipment configurations, etc
Suggests technical solutions to enhance business processing efficiency of existing and/or new processes
Demonstrates developed functionality to functional team prior to the implementation of new or revised technical systems and offers advice and guidance during the implementation process
Performs on-call or scheduled after-hours work as required
Trains and mentors State staff
Attends work regularly in accordance with agency leave and attendance policies
Complies with all applicable agency policies and procedures, including safety and standards of conduct
Communicates respectfully and works harmoniously with all co-workers, customers, and vendors
Provides exceptional customer service
Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability with ability to work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
