Position Overview
This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, accessibility, and performance of enterprise applications through comprehensive manual and automated testing practices.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in test strategy development, automation using Java-based frameworks, API and performance testing, and ADA accessibility compliance, while working collaboratively within an Agile delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
- Create and maintain test plans, test strategies, and test scenarios.
- Perform multiple testing types including:
- Quality Assurance (QA)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- Accessibility (ADA) Testing
- Performance and Load Testing
- Regression Testing
- Post-Deployment Validation
- Data Conversion Testing
- Generate test reports, metrics, and defect summaries.
- Build environment-specific test suites for DEV, QAT, UAT, and PRE-PROD.
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps to design reusable positive, negative, and boundary test cases.
- Identify, document, and track defects clearly using Azure DevOps.
Required Qualifications
- Senior-level experience (5+ years) in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong experience in both manual and automated testing.
- Proven Java-based test automation experience.
- Hands-on experience with API, performance, and ADA compliance testing.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps for work item tracking and test management.
