Requirement for: Project Manager, Manager (3 Positions) - Tallahassee, FL

Client: Florida Department of Education, 325 West Gaines Street, Tallahassee FL 32399
Due Date: February 2, 2026 by 1pm EST
Term: Through August 2026 (1,112 hours)
LOCATION - must live in Florida and be available to work in Tallahassee, Florida if required.
DELIVERABLES/TASKS: The Project Manager key deliverables include, but are not limited to the following:
· Providing overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-oriented work efforts.
· Attending and/or facilitating meetings with project stakeholder groups.
· Assembling project plans and teamwork assignments; directing and monitoring work efforts daily; identifying resource needs; performing quality reviews; and escalating functional, quality, and timeline issues appropriately to the Program Manager.
· Communicating effectively regarding all major project areas such as scope, risk, and resources.
· Possessing expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as an understanding of the IT organization’s systems and capabilities.
· Working closely with management, other Project Managers, and the IT unit to ensure that the application meets scope, requirements, and project management guidelines.
· Assisting with both internal and external resources to achieve business solutions within project guidelines.
· Identifying and eliminating obstacles to solution plans, business goals or implementation.
· Other duties as assigned.
Note: The staff augmentation consultants are required to be off the week of Christmas and New Year unless services are required with prior approval from division leadership. Please ensure that your candidates are aware of this prior to submitting them for this proposal.
Security Requirements: The Consultant must comply with the following security and non-disclosure requirements:
1. Will be subject to E-Verify with information from Form I-9 within first three business days of hire.
2. Must sign & comply with confidentiality and data use agreements.
3. Must sign a Disclosure Statement.
4. Consultants working or acting on behalf of the Department shall comply with Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.) and fully comply with all information technology security policies. Consultants shall also fully comply with 60GG-2 F.A.C. Information Technology Standards.
5. Candidate(s) must successfully pass a Level 2 criminal background investigation (to be paid for by consultant), including fingerprinting, statewide and national criminal history records check prior to beginning work
