responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities Test Case Development: Analyze system and software requirements to design comprehensive test cases.
System Validation: Conduct a wide range of system integration and validation testing, primarily utilizing Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) bench setups in a lab environment (Mossville campus).
Issue Management: Document and report discovered issues accurately, collaborating closely with software and system engineering teams to facilitate resolution.
HIL System Development: Participate in software and model development activities related to the creation and maintenance of new dSPACE HIL system setups.
Testing Infrastructure: Contribute to the creation of robust test benches and the execution of tests in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) labs, and on surrogate vehicles at the test track.
Automation & Simulation: Develop test automation and simulation environments to improve efficiency and coverage.
Customer Interaction: Occasionally participate in dealer and customer demonstrations.
Required Qualifications Technical Skills Experience: 3-5 years of embedded systems validation experience.
Testing Expertise: Proven experience designing and conducting test cases for complex electronic systems.
HIL Testing: Hands-on experience with HIL-based system testing, preferably using dSPACE .
Programming: Proficiency in Python for test automation.
Modeling Tools: Experience with modeling tools such as Matlab/Simulink .
Communication Tools: Experience with CAN communication tools (e.g., Vector CANape, CANalyzer, CANoe, ETAS INCA).
Operating Systems: Experience with Linux OS, including wired and wireless networking configuration.
Domain Knowledge: Previous autonomous system validation experience is a strong asset.
Education & Soft Skills Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
Communication: Strong written communication skills for creating clear test case documentation and issue reports.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative, supportive team player within a multicultural environment.
Desired Skills Experience in Test Bench Setup and configuration.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and associated tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA).
