Position Guidewire ClaimCenter Functional Lead Architect
Location Fully Remote Nationwide
We are seeking a Guidewire Integration Lead Architect to design, oversee, and guide all integration workstreams within a large-scale Guidewire ClaimCenter modernization program. This role is responsible for defining the integration architecture, ensuring seamless connectivity between ClaimCenter and both internal and external systems, and providing hands-on leadership across teams delivering APIs, messaging, and real-time interfaces. This leader will play a critical role in shaping a scalable, reliable integration layer across the enterprise claims ecosystem.

What You Will Lead
Own the end-to-end integration architecture for the Guidewire ClaimCenter ecosystem, including real-time, batch, API, and event-driven integrations.
Define integration patterns, standards, and frameworks aligned with enterprise architecture and Guidewire best practices.
Lead design workshops with business, technical, and vendor teams to translate integration requirements into detailed technical specifications.
Oversee the development and delivery of integrations between ClaimCenter and downstream systems such as billing, policy, document management, payments, CRM, analytics, third-party adjusters, and external service providers.
Provide hands-on architectural guidance to integration developers using Guidewire Messaging, REST APIs, SOAP services, Event Messaging, Kafka/MSK, and related platforms.
Ensure integration solutions are performant, secure, resilient, and support high availability.
Collaborate with data migration, functional, and QA teams to ensure cohesive end-to-end solution integrity.
Conduct code reviews, validate design approaches, and enforce development standards across onshore and offshore engineering teams.
Lead integration issue triage and resolution throughout SIT, UAT, and production readiness phases.
Partner with cloud, security, and enterprise architecture stakeholders to ensure compliance and adherence to platform requirements.

Who We Are Looking For
8+ years of experience implementing integrations in large enterprise environments, including at least 5 years with Guidewire ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, or BillingCenter.
Strong architecture and hands-on development experience with Guidewire integration frameworks, including:
o Messaging (asynchronoqueue-based)
o RESTful APIs and SOAP services
o Web service exposure and consumption
o Event-driven frameworks (Kafka, MSK, JMS)
Deep understanding of ClaimCenter data structures, business rules, and integration touchpoints.
Proficiency with Java/J2EE, integration middleware, API gateways, and cloud-native integration services (AWS, Azure).
Experience leading distributed development teams and managing multi-system integration dependencies.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps workflows, and automated testing for integration services.
Strong understanding of P&C insurance and claims operations.
Guidewire certification (Integration Specialist or ACE) strongly preferred.
