Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction & Commissioning Manager to oversee contractor activities, ensure safe and efficient field execution, and support successful project delivery. This role is responsible for coordinating construction work, monitoring performance, and ensuring all work meets design, quality, safety, and schedule expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily construction activities performed by contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and design requirements.
Evaluate productivity, schedule adherence, work quality, and SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) performance.
Lead and participate in field walkdowns, validate completed work, approve payment requests, and ensure constructability.
Monitor project scope, budget, schedules, and work progress to ensure Construction Supervisors deliver expected results.
Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to Construction Supervisors and supplemental workforce.
Serve as a liaison between field operations and project leadership, resolving issues, addressing logistics, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
Support commissioning activities, including system testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
Manage contractor performance and resolve issues during the commissioning phase to keep the project on track.

Education

Associate or Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Power Generation, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Required Experience

6 10 years of experience in power plant commissioning, construction management, or related heavy-industrial projects.
Experience working with EPC contractors, engineering firms, and equipment suppliers.
Strong understanding of engineering principles related to power plant commissioning.
