Currently we are searching for a Sr C++ Engineer to fulfill an immediate full-time vacancy. This position is a Full-Time, Direct Hire role that will sit HYBRID onsite in Birmingham, AL.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Design and build cross-platform software applications leveraging C++ and supporting technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML models and sensor-driven data into scalable solutions.
Contribute to the overall software architecture, providing technical leadership and code reviews.
Maintain and improve reusable libraries, frameworks, and development tools across multiple projects.
Develop solutions optimized for Linux, Windows, macOS, and embedded environments.
Participate in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices to ensure code quality and stability.

Position Requirements:

Proficiency with C/C++, and working knowledge of JavaScript, Python, and build systems.
Hands-on experience with multi-platform development (Linux, Windows, Android, macOS, or containerized environments).
Familiarity with version control, unit testing, and automated build pipelines.
Proven ability to architect and deliver high-performance software in production environments.
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience developing and shipping C++ applications.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills within a collaborative engineering environment.

Preferred Experience:

Knowledge of network or data communication protocols (e.g., REST, TCP/UDP, MQTT, or CAN).
Enthusiasm for hardware integration, IoT, or embedded systems development.
