Enterprise Architect
Our client is seeking an Enterprise Architect to play a critical role in shaping and guiding enterprise-wide technology solutions that support complex, customer-facing digital ecosystems. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on architect who enjoys translating business objectives into scalable, future-ready architectures while partnering closely with product, technology, and business leaders. You will have broad influence across digital platforms and enterprise systems, helping drive long-term business outcomes through thoughtful architectural leadership.

Onsite in either Charlotte, NC or Raleigh, NC
Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $155k - $165k W2

What You'll Do:
- Lead and support enterprise and solution architecture activities across a broad portfolio of digital and enterprise platforms, including ecommerce, loyalty, content management, customer data, mobile, and in-store technologies
- Translate business goals, customer journeys, and requirements into business capability maps, value streams, and architectural blueprints aligned with enterprise standards
- Partner closely with product owners, product managers, and technology leaders to ensure architectures support current needs and future growth
- Assess current-state architectures to identify gaps, technical debt, and modernization opportunities, and guide decisions to maintain, refresh, or retire systems
- Define target-state architectures, roadmaps, and governance standards to ensure solutions align with long-term enterprise strategy
What Gets You the Job:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- At least five years of experience across multiple IT disciplines such as solution, application, or infrastructure architecture, application development, middleware, databases, or cloud platforms
- Broad exposure to modern digital ecosystems, ideally within a retail or customer-centric environment spanning ecommerce, loyalty, content, data, and in-store technologies
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies, product management principles, and how to support agile teams while managing architectural debt
- Proven ability to communicate complex architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership
