We are seeking a highly skilled WebFOCUS / FOCUS Reporting Consultant to support the Report Conversion Project and related reporting initiatives. This role involves converting legacy mainframe FOCUS reports to WebFOCUS 8.2, developing new and enhanced reports, and collaborating with business analysts and data architects to ensure accurate data mapping and reporting standards.
This is a professional, non-supervisory position requiring strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to work within established judiciary standards and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, analyze, and document logic and specifications of existing mainframe FOCUS reports
Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and implement new and enhanced WebFOCUS 8.2 reports
Convert legacy mainframe FOCUS reports to WebFOCUS, including defining appropriate test scenarios
Analyze and define data mapping requirements in collaboration with business analysts and data architects
Develop reports using App Studio and InfoAssist+
Create responsive user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
Identify, document, and resolve report defects
Coordinate programming activities with the Team Lead and other technical staff
Ensure compliance with Administrative Office of the Courts reporting standards and procedures
Communicate clearly and effectively with technical teams, business users, and external vendors
Required Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of experience working with WebFOCUS, with current hands-on experience in WebFOCUS version 8.2
Strong experience using WebFOCUS App Studio and InfoAssist+
Extensive experience with mainframe FOCUS, JCL, JCL Procedures, and ISPF commands
Proficiency in User Interface Design using HTML and responsive technologies
Experience developing dynamic, parameter-driven reporting interfaces
Strong Business and System Analysis skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to compare project deliverables against defined standards and procedures
Desired / Plus Skills
Experience coding DB2 SQL and stored procedures
Strong Report Development expertise
Knowledge of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and UML
Experience with JavaScript and CSS
Ability to teach or explain technical and functional concepts to team members
Education
Bachelor s degree (4-year college degree) or equivalent technical study
