Key Responsibilities
- Design, enhance, and maintain application features for an established internal system built with C++ and the Qt framework.
- Upgrade the existing Qt version to modern 64 bit compatibility and contribute to long term modernization goals.
- Develop and maintain custom Qt components (not limited to Qt Creator based work).
- Implement new functionality requested by internal stakeholders, including marketing and product teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues within a complex, 15 year old codebase; apply creative solutions while respecting established constraints.
- Contribute to ongoing efforts to add unit tests, modernize components, and improve code maintainability.

- Participate in onsite team discussions, technical reviews, and hardware adjacent workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in C++ and the Qt framework, including deep knowledge of Qt models and custom UI development.
- Experience maintaining and evolving large, legacy, or highly established codebases.
- Understanding of networking basics, including device communication, data flow, and common protocol concepts (TCP/UDP familiarity helpful).
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work fully onsite, 5 days per week.
- Comfortable working within constraints rather than re architecting legacy systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with:

- Continuous Integration / CI pipelines
- Networking/lighting protocols such as ACN or RDM
