S4 Hana Implementation experience
The Senior IT Project Manager serves as delivery lead for the S/4HANA program and orchestrates the integrated delivery schedule across all workstreams, and dependent projects led by individual PMs (e.g., IS-U Billing/FICA, EAM/Mobile, MM/Procurement, FI/CO, CRM→Service Cloud v2, Commerce/Hybris, CPI integrations, BW/Analytics).
This role works in close partnership with the Program Manager and in conjunction with Business Owners, IT teams, and third-party consultants/System Integrator (SI), to ensure fit-to-standard outcomes, timely decisions, and clean execution through each project phase. Additionally, the Sr. PM builds and maintains the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), monitors System Integrator (SI) / vendors’ work product for completeness and definition-of-done, manages project phase gate readiness, ensuring consistency across workstreams, and develops, maintains and monitors associated execution-level work-products (scope baseline, change intake, requirements, RAID, schedule, cost, testing, cutover, etc.) for the S/4 Hana program
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work with the business and project teams to provide guidance on strategies, requirements specifications, and functional specifications, which meet business unit requirements and project standards.
• Responsible for leading cross-functional teams in the development of integrated business processes, implementing project deliverables, with an emphasis on quality, productivity, and consistency.
• Responsible for establishing and managing multiple large and complex project plans, communications, reporting, procedural and contractual activity, reporting into overall account team, with a high degree of risk, visibility and urgency.
• Ensure the S/4 program schedule, scope and quality objectives are met by monitoring, using metrics and controls to measure progress, taking corrective action and escalating issues when necessary. Assess trade-offs to scope using cost / benefit analysis and make recommendations to the program leadership.
• Establish an effective communication plan (status and vision) with the project team, business management and stakeholders.
• Schedule and facilitate meetings, communicate progress and develop action plans to meet project goals.
• Apply techniques for budget, planning, tracking, change control and risk management

Additional Skills & Qualifications
KNOW HOW (Education, Experience, Certifications required, etc.)
• A bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years IT project management experience with initiatives of high complexity/integration
• 3+ years managing SAP projects (S/4HANA, ECC, modules like FI/CO, MM, SD etc.)
• Project management certification (PMP) preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; effectively communicates with project team, other project leaders, multiple areas, divisions and outside vendors.
• Self-starter who possesses strong time management skills and has thorough attention to detail. Experience partnering with external 3rd party service providers.
• Strong emphasis on excellent customer service
• Utility industry experience preferred.
