Salesforce Technical Lead

The Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) team is seeking a Technical Lead to drive development activities across multiple Salesforce platforms. The ideal candidate will:

• Independently build and unit test components, and collaborate with Dev/QA team members to resolve code and configuration-based defects.
• Lead a development team, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
• Direct the team in researching and documenting new Salesforce capabilities or addressing existing platform-related issues.
• Partner with architects to lead proof-of-concepts, evaluating and documenting new designs, integrations, patterns, and best practices.

• Provide leadership and demonstrate proficiency in core Salesforce capabilities, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), flows, triggers, complex formulas, workflows, and security.
• Participate in agile practices and ceremonies, including sprint planning, user story refinement, daily stand-ups, and code reviews, while providing leadership to team members.
• Contribute to enhancements in DevOps processes (pipelines, monitoring, test automation).
• Understand enterprise cross-system integration concepts such as event processing and API interactions.
• Conduct product and solution evaluations-including Salesforce capabilities and third-party vendor offerings-by creating prototypes and proof-of-concepts to align with business goals.
• Design, document, and develop development patterns and best practices for use by the COE technical delivery organization.
• Mentor technical delivery staff.

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible technical and business experience developing enterprise-level applications, including full-stack Salesforce development.
• 2 3 years of experience working in a Scrum team environment.
• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Deep knowledge of the Salesforce data model across various clouds/products and strong data modeling experience.
• Expertise in branching and code merging practices using Git (or equivalent repository).

• Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform Developer I & II, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant.
• Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (highly preferred).
• Experience evaluating, deploying, and upgrading Salesforce managed packages.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Copado, Gearset).
• Experience with other Salesforce products such as MuleSoft and Marketing Cloud is a plus.
