Summary:
NC DHHS is seeking an experienced Epic certified Principle trainer in Resolute HB & PB to lead the development, delivery, and maintenance of role‑based training programs and training environments (MST) across our Epic ecosystem.
Job Description:
Required Epic Certifications (must be current at time of hire)
· Resolute Hospital Billing Curriculum Certification
· Resolute Professional Billing Curriculum Certification
· TED105 – Training Wheels Behind the Scenes Certification
· TED300 – Training Environment Build Certification
Curriculum & Content
· Design, develop, and maintain role‑based training content for Epic using Microsoft Office and other tools.
· Build comprehensive instructional materials and classroom exercises; maintain related policy and procedure documentation.
· Incorporate stakeholder feedback to continuously improve training programs and administration processes.
· Learn new Epic content areas; consult with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Training Environment (MST)
· Assist with building, refreshing, and testing MST training environments; validate workflows and roles.
· Provide environmental support, troubleshooting, and coordination with technical teams.
Delivery & Facilitation
· Co‑facilitate classroom instruction with other trainers; assist learners during hands‑on exercises.
· Prepare lessons, print materials, and set up rooms/environments prior to sessions.
· Present information clearly—both verbally and in writing—to diverse audiences.
· Follow up with trainees outside the classroom and offer additional support.
Educator & Mentor
· Serve as an expert educator to state staff.
· Train-the-trainer: credential and coach additional classroom trainers as needed.
· Teach technical topics to staff and end users when required.
Planning & Administration
· Manage application assignments by prioritizing work, creating schedules, and adhering to timelines.
· Support curriculum and training development for third‑party applications as needed.
