Role: GIS Systems Engineer
Type: 12-month contract to start
Skill level: 3-10 years of experience
Location(s): Denver, CO; San Antonio, Texas; Findlay, OH
Schedule: 4 days onsite and 1 day remote per week
Additional Skills:
- Proficiency in performing information technology responsibilities against industry-standard ESRI GIS software.
- Platform Engineering skills around the GIS platform/ecosystem and in being able to tactically design, build, deploy, administer, troubleshoot, optimize, and manage a very strong, reliable, sustainable, and highly-performant GIS environment. Of note, seeking someone with sound experience + expertise around monitoring the GIS environment (using ArcMonitor and potentially other tools), and in continuing to effectively upgrade/maintain/tweak/secure our existing products + system resources.
- Deep knowledge of ESRI products Portal, ArcGIS Server, SDE, GeoEvent Server, Image Server, Field Maps, Survey123, and other mobile applications.
- Other areas that are a strong plus:
- Experience administrating enterprise geodatabases (SDEs), spatial analysis, and geospatial data administrator skills.
- Experience with industry standard models (such as ESRI's Utility Network, PODS, or UPDM) and data programming skills (such as Python, ESRI JavaScript API, Experience Builder, REST API, and SQL).
- Experience developing and supporting ETL operations between GIS applications/database using FME Desktop or Server.
- Experience developing custom GIS solutions and GIS mobile applications
- Experience understanding, harnessing, and applying strong analysis, modeling, management, integration, and quality across our spatial data technology.
- Experience utilizing Agile methodologies.
- Experience operating an enterprise GIS within Azure cloud environments.
- Experience within the Oil and Gas industry preferred.
