Job Summary
We are looking for a Data Scientist with strong expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) to design, build, and deploy scalable ML/NLP solutions. The ideal candidate will work on unstructured text data to extract insights, build predictive models, and enhance business outcomes using advanced NLP and deep learning techniques.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy NLP models for text classification, sentiment analysis, topic modeling, NER, summarization, and search/recommendation use cases
Preprocess and analyze large-scale unstructured text data from multiple sources
Build and fine-tune ML/DL models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn
Implement and optimize transformer-based models (BERT, RoBERTa, GPT, LLaMA, etc.)
Work with word embeddings such as Word2Vec, GloVe, FastText
Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate requirements into data-driven solutions
Evaluate model performance and continuously improve accuracy and efficiency
Deploy models using APIs and integrate them into production systems
Maintain documentation and ensure best practices in model development and versioning
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong programming skills in Python
Solid understanding of NLP concepts, ML algorithms, and statistical methods
Hands-on experience with NLP libraries such as NLTK, SpaCy, Hugging Face Transformers
Experience with Deep Learning for NLP
Strong knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation
Experience working with structured and unstructured datasets
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field
Good to Have
Experience with LLMs and Generative AI application
Knowledge of MLOps tools (MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
Exposure to real-time NLP systems and chatbots
Research experience or published work in NLP/AI
