DescriptionJob Description SummaryServe as the technical visionary for Huntington's Transactional Data Service (TDS)-the enterprise integration platform that unifies transaction data for secure, scalable API consumption across Commercial/Treasury. Define and evolve the application architecture, ensuring alignment with target-state patterns, compliance, and performance standards on Google Cloud.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Own the technical architecture for TDS ingestion, orchestration, and API delivery; ensure adherence to enterprise patterns and security controls.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, and Product teams to shape roadmap and target state for TDS capabilities.
- Drive design decisions for observability, resiliency, and developer experience (CI/CD, automation, reusable frameworks).
- Provide leadership and guidance to engineering teams, influencing design reviews and solution patterns.
- Ensure architectural integrity across integrations with payment rails, reporting systems, and external partners.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 7+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years in architecture roles
- Expertise in cloud-native architectures Aws, Azure (preferably Google Cloud Platform), API design, and event-driven patterns
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, and data governance in financial services (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with payment systems, transaction processing, and enterprise integration platforms
- Familiarity with tools such as Apigee, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer
- Ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams and vendors

Compensation Range:93,000.00 - 189,000.00 USD Annual
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
