Cloud Engineer

Description

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Admin to join our team in Carmel, Indiana. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions to support business operations. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in cloud platforms, automation tools, and system scaling technologies.

Responsibilities:

Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using tools such as AWS, Azure, and Terraform.

Implement automation solutions with Ansible to streamline processes and enhance system reliability.

Configure and maintain scalable environments using Auto Scaling and Amazon EC2.

Monitor cloud systems to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.

Enhance database operations by managing Azure SQL Databases and related cloud data services.

Collaborate with teams to integrate and maintain Azure Active Directory.

Utilize GIT for version control and ensure proper code management practices.

Optimize cloud resource utilization while maintaining security and compliance standards.

Provide technical expertise in cloud-based solutions to support application development.

Document processes and configurations to ensure operational consistency and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience working in cloud engineering or related roles.
Proficiency in AWS technologies, including EC2 and Auto Scaling.
Hands-on experience with Azure services, including SQL Database and Active Directory.
Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
Familiarity with version control systems like GIT.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues efficiently.
Understanding of cloud security practices and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
