Description
The IT Contract Analyst is a key member of the Corporate IT Vendor Management Team, reporting to the Director of Vendor Management Office. This position manages a high volume of contract reviews and renewals while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
The role leverages automated contract management tools, including the ServiceNow platform, to streamline processes. Core responsibilities include reviewing contracts, verifying billing accuracy, resolving invoicing issues, and coordinating vendor optimization. The workload is constant, with multiple priorities presenting themselves daily, requiring excellent time management and communication skills. The analyst partners with IT management and cross-functional teams to monitor vendor compliance, improve workflows, and support organizational goals in vendor management.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The IT Contract Analyst will be responsible for supporting vendor management operations and ensuring contract compliance. Key responsibilities include:
Perform preliminary redlining of IT contracts and conduct comprehensive review, analysis, and assessment of renewals (30%)
Source and compare competitive quotes from primary and secondary vendors to ensure optimal pricing, discounting, and delivery terms (5%)
Manage and maintain the IT contract repository for accuracy and accessibility (5%)
Assist with vendor surveys and presentations to assess performance and compliance with contractual obligations (5%)
Generate financial, vendor spend, and other reports as required to support business decisions (5%)
Collaborate with vendors to resolve billing errors, disputes, and contract or insurance deficiencies (10%)
Facilitate vendor onboarding by coordinating required documentation, ensuring compliance with GPI standards, and submitting requests through HICX (10%)
Contribute to the creation and ongoing updates of SOPs related to vendor management processes (5%)
Monitor and track the progress of contract negotiations, providing timely status updates to stakeholders (10%)
Perform additional IT contract-related tasks as assigned to support departmental objectives (15%)

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, Pre-Law, or related discipline
Experience in vendor management, contract administration or procurement preferred
Proven ability to collaborate across departments to achieve operational priorities
Familiarity with ERP systems, ITSM tools, and vendor management platforms such as ServiceNow, Zycus, and HICX preferred
Previous corporate experience, with prior work as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant desirable

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
