Job DescriptionThe DevOps Engineering Senior Manager participates with senior management to establish strategic plans and objectives within cloud development to ensure high-quality performance and user experience. They lead team(s) to develop new methods and solve complex matters to shorten the system's delivery lifecycle and provide a continuous delivery platform.
This position is not hybrid/remote and will be located at our Cleveland Headquarters office.ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Supervision- Strategic leader, Directs operational units.
- Directs the activities of a functional area or multiple integrated departments through lower management.
- Leads team(s) to develop new methods and solve complex matters.
- Responsible for supporting the talent strategy through hiring, onboarding, learning & development, performance, succession planning, engagement, recognition, and inclusion, diversity, and equity practices.
- Responsible for fostering a work environment that encourages employees to act with integrity and respect.
- Responsible for setting employee objectives and expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing meaningful feedback, and mentorship.
- Responsible for supporting employee career development.
- Contributes to development of strategies of a function or multi departments.
Knowledge & Application- Participates with senior management to establish strategic plans and objectives. Makes final decisions on implementation and ensures operational effectiveness.
- Effectively cascades functional strategy and contributes to development of organizational policies.
- Accountable for actions that impact function or multiple department budgets.
- Works on complex issues where problems are not clearly defined and where fundamental principles do not fully apply.
- Translates business segment strategy into functional plans and guides execution. Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people.
- Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
Collaboration & Interaction- Interacts with senior management, executives, and/or major customers which frequently involves negotiating matters of significance to the organization.
- Reconciles multiple stakeholder views to drive business results.

QualificationsEducationRequired- Bachelor's degree or higher in the Information Technology (IT) field. In lieu of a degree, at least 11 years of experience in IT
Knowledge & ExperienceRequired- 8+ years of experience in IT
- 4+ years of experience managing direct reports
Preferred- 5+ years of experience with React and microservices
- Knowledgeable in liquid batch manufacturing
- Experience with agile methodologies
