About the Role
We"re looking for a detail oriented IT Hardware Depot Technician (Level 1) to support our hardware lifecycle operations. In this role, you"ll focus on asset management, imaging, shipping/receiving, and basic hardware troubleshooting within a fast paced depot environment. Key Responsibilities
Asset ManagementMaintain accurate inventory of laptops, desktops, peripherals, and accessoriesTrack hardware through receiving, staging, deployment, return, repair, and retirementUpdate asset records in inventory and ticketing systems
Imaging & Device PreparationPerform imaging of client hardware using standardized deployment toolsConfigure, test, and validate devices prior to shipmentEnsure all equipment meets quality and compliance standards
Shipping & ReceivingReceive incoming hardware shipments and verify contentsPackage and ship devices to end users or field locationsMaintain proper documentation, labeling, and tracking
Technical Support & Break/FixDiagnose and repair basic hardware issues on Dell PCsTroubleshoot printers and peripheral device failuresAssist with basic network connectivity and wireless troubleshootingSupport virus detection and removal using approved tools

What You Need to Succeed1-2+ years of corporate desk side, depot, or hardware support experienceExperience troubleshooting and replacing components on Dell PCsFamiliarity with Windows 10 and Windows 11 environmentsBasic experience with Active Directory (lookups, password resets, device checks)Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, and OWAAbility to troubleshoot wireless and basic network connectivity issuesStrong customer service and communication skillsExperience with VPN, basic printer hardware support, and tools such asSymantec Endpoint ProtectionBitLockerSCCMRDP
