Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Superintendent to oversee field operations on water and wastewater treatment plant and pump station projects. This role is responsible for managing crews and subcontractors, coordinating daily construction activities, and ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with project specifications.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, extensive experience in heavy civil and mechanical construction, and the ability to proactively solve field challenges. Flexibility to assist with other project types as needed is expected.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, assign, and supervise all field crews and subcontractors
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and OSHA requirements
- Monitor productivity, schedule progress, and labor costs
- Track subcontractor performance and manage budget expectations
- Interpret and apply project plans, specifications, and work scopes
- Manage documentation, submittals, material tracking, and recordkeeping
- Prepare and submit weekly safety and progress reports
