Role Summary
Our Client is seeking to add an Oracle Database Consultant as part of their strategic initiative to enhance client support services. This role is crucial for driving successful database solutions, particularly in regulated, mission-critical environments. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to leverage their expertise to consult directly with federal customers and support significant projects.

Responsibilities
As an Oracle Database Consultant, you will be responsible for:

• Providing onsite support for a federal customer, ensuring smooth Oracle operations.


• Participating in pre-sales discovery and solution scoping, focusing on Oracle platforms and applications.


• Supporting delivery execution and ongoing client engagement.


• Acting as a subject matter expert, advising federal stakeholders on Oracle-related matters.


• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and parallel workstreams as necessary.


• Supporting discussions on requirements, system modernization efforts, and enterprise-level decision making.

Essential Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Database.


• Experience with database modernization or migration initiatives.


• Familiarity with Oracle environments that support mission-critical systems.


• Proven history of supporting federal, government, or highly regulated enterprise environments.


• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


• A willingness and ability to work onsite in suburban Pittsburgh, PA or suburban Albany, NY.


• Experience in client-facing consulting roles, including onsite engagement.

Desirable Skills & Experience
While not mandatory, the following skills would enhance your application:

• Experience in pre-sales discovery, technical scoping, or solution design.


• A background in collaborating across multi-vendor or multi-team programs.
